The Brühlsche Galerie was a building on the Brühlsche Terrasse in Dresden . It was one of the Brühl's glories .

The gallery was built in 1746 by Johann Christoph Knöffel for the painting collection of Count Heinrich von Brühl . The building was one-story and 87 meters long and 11.4 meters wide. On the north side there were 19 large arched windows that let light into the three rooms. The south side of the building was windowless. Brühl built up the painting collection together with Carl Heinrich von Heineken . In 1768 the paintings were sold to the Russian Empress Catherine the Great and are still part of the holdings of the Hermitage in Saint Petersburg . The building was later used for exhibitions by the Saxon Art Association.

In 1887 the building was demolished for the new art academy .
