Brackie is a light, bottom-fermented beer from Poland with an alcohol content of 5.5  % vol. It is brewed in the castle brewery in Cieszyn , which is part of Grupa Żywiec , which in turn is part of the Heineken Group. The tradition of brewing beer in Cieszyn dates back to the 15th century, the castle brewery was established in the middle of the 19th century. The logo shows the Piast tower on the Cieszyner Burgberg , on which the castle brewery is also located. The name Brackie comes from the Polish word brat , which goes back to the founding legend of Cieszyn, which is said to have been founded in 810 by three brothers Leszek, Cieszek and Bolko.
