Grupa Żywiec SA is a Polish beer producer that was founded in 1998 as an amalgamation of numerous breweries. The main owner is Heineken Holding NV with 61%, which in turn is controlled to 51.7% by L'Arche Green NV . L'Arche Green is 88.67% owned by Alfred Heineken's descendants . The brewing company has a market share of around 27% in Poland.
