Żywiec (beer)

Żywiec is a beer brand from the town of the same name Żywiec in Poland .

The Żywiec brewery belongs to Grupa Żywiec , which in turn is part of the Heineken Group. The brand is known beyond Poland. The tradition of brewing beer in Żywiec dates back to the Middle Ages, the current brewery was established in the middle of the 19th century. The logo shows a dancing couple in Krakow costumes, originally they wore the costumes of the Saybuscher Gorals .
