Gisele Oppermann (born October 13, 1987 in Fortaleza , Brazil ) is a German - Brazilian model and reality TV participant.

Career

Oppermann was born in Brazil. When she was twelve years old, her Brazilian mother separated from her German father, a horse breeder in Liebenburg . She grew up with him until she was 18 years old. In 2008 she was a candidate for the third season of Germany's Next Top Model , in which she reached sixth place. Since she regularly burst into tears on the show, she was often referred to in the media as a “crybaby” and was also totally ridiculed by Stefan Raab in his TV show . Then she was on the catwalk u. a. in Barcelona for the designer Philipp Plein or for the fashion label Custo at the New York Fashion Week .

In 2009 Oppermann was sentenced by the Braunschweig District Court to nine months' imprisonment for dangerous bodily harm and a ghost drive on the Autobahn under the influence of alcohol, suspended for three years on probation. In addition, compensation for pain and suffering was imposed on her.

In July 2010, had Oppermann next Jo Weil , Sabrina Long and Kalle Pohl at the VOX telecast Perfect Celebrity Dinner with. In November 2010, she was in an episode of the RTL II telecast Cinderella experiment to see. In the same month Oppermann suffered a serious traffic accident in which she ran into oncoming traffic with a mobile home. Here she suffered a debris fracture in her lower leg.
