Tatra Mountains

Tatra is a Polish bottom-fermented beer . It is brewed in three breweries located in Elbląg , Leżajsk and Warka . These breweries belong to the Żywiec group and are 61% owned by Heineken .

Tatra has been brewed in the Żywiec brewery under the name Tatra Żywiec Lager since the late 1970s . Production ended in 1992, but the brand was re-launched in April 1998. It is one of the most popular beers in Poland and is also exported to Germany.

  • Tatra Jasne Pełne , light lager with an alcohol content of 6%
  • Tatra Mocne , light lager with an alcohol content of 7%
  • Tatra Grzaniec , winter beer that is drunk warm and contains cinnamon, cardamom and cherry aromas , with an alcohol content of 5.8%
