Brandan Greczkowski
Brandan Allan Greczkowski (born July 18, 1977 in Putnam , Connecticut ) is a former judoka from the United States .
Athletic career
The 1.70 m tall Brandan Greczkowski fought in the super lightweight, the weight class up to 60 kilograms. In 1996 he finished third in both trials for the Olympic Games. In 1998 and 1999 he won a bronze medal each at the Pan American Championships. At the 1999 World Championships in Birmingham, he lost to the Japanese Kazuhiko Tokuno in his first fight and was eliminated in the hope round against Elçin İsmayılov from Azerbaijan. At the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney he was defeated by the Japanese Tadahiro Nomura in the round of 16 . After two wins in the Hope Round he was defeated by the Kyrgyz Aidyn Smaghulow and finished in seventh place.
Brandan Greczkowski won the US championships in 1996 and 2004.
