The Brandenburg-Halle is a multi-purpose hall in the sports center of the city of Frankfurt (Oder) , state of Brandenburg . It was opened in 1997 and has a capacity of 2,500. The main user is the Frankfurt Handball Club , which played with its women's handball team in the women's handball league until 2013 . Next to the Brandenburg-Halle there is also the Oderlandhalle .

Architecture and data

The Brandenburg-Halle has a large foyer behind which the actual hall adjoins the playing field is completely surrounded by auditoriums with seats. The number of seats varies, as the stands can be retracted and extended, and the playing area can also be seated at certain events. The hall has:

  • a scoreboard
  • Connections for radio and television
  • 4 changing rooms with showers and toilets
  • 2 referee rooms with showers and toilets
  • 1 doping control room with toilet
  • 1 treatment room for medical first aid
  • 1 large, modern VIP area
  • 1 control and press booth under the hall roof

use

In addition to its function as a venue for the Frankfurt HC, the hall is also used for other sporting events such as wrestling competitions, boxing events and indoor soccer tournaments .
