The nine-axis building Brandstwiete 42 is a listed residential and commercial building in Brandstwiete in Hamburg 's old town .

The building, erected around 1878 in the style of historicism , is part of a building ensemble and is listed in the Hamburg monument list with entry ID11787 .

The building, which is dominated by a balcony on the fourth floor in the central projectile , houses the stationery company Dössel & Rademacher , which was founded in 1913 and has had its headquarters there since 1939.
