The Brantner Group is a service company that operates in the areas of waste disposal, facility services, transport and logistics . The head office is in Krems an der Donau ( Lower Austria ). The company handles waste disposal for around 1,000 municipalities and cities as well as for around 30,000 commercial, trading and industrial companies. In 2013 the Brantner Group employed a total of 3,000 people and generated non-consolidated sales of EUR 245 million, including EUR 110 million in Austria. The group is wholly owned by the Danubia private foundation of the Brantner family.

The company is represented in nine countries. In addition to Austria, these are Germany (since 1991), Slovakia (since 1992), the Czech Republic (since 1992), Slovenia (since 2004), Romania (since 2004), Serbia (since 2007), Turkey (since 2011), Poland (since 2012 ). The Brantner Group has 65 branches and joint ventures in Europe and Asia with over 1,000 vehicles and machines. The company operates fourteen landfill sites , eleven waste sorting plants and nine composting plants as well as five other processing plants in Europe .
