The Brasla is a right tributary of the Gauja in Latvia .

The river bed has steep embankments that partly consist of sandstone rocks. Due to the many rapids, the Brasla is a popular destination for canoeists when the water level is high . The towns of Straupe , Plācis and Rozula are on the river bank .

The largest tributaries are Iesala (19 km), Nabe (20 km) and Jugla (24 km).
