Bratteli Ridge is a mountain ridge in the north of South Georgia in the South Atlantic . It rises between the Shackleton Valley and the Hansen Valley and extends from Harbor Point in a northwest direction. The mountain ridge contains two 476 and 520 m high peaks
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2013. It is named after the Norwegian politician Trygve Bratteli (1910–1984), two-time Prime Minister of Norway, who began his professional life between 1926 and 1927 at the Leith Harbor whaling station .
