The Günther Brewery is a private brewery in Burgkunstadt that has existed since 1840 and has its own restaurant. Your sales area extends to Upper Franconia and southern Thuringia. The annual output is 7,000 hectoliters.

history

In 1840, the brothers Johann and Georg Günther began brewing beer for their own restaurant in the Burgkunstadter Kommunbrauhaus .

Baptist Günther built an ice cellar with storage and fermentation cellar in the lower town in 1935, which was converted in 1952 into a brewhouse with a restaurant that still exists.

In 1990 the brewery was able to expand its sales area to southern Thuringia . Due to the increased demand, the construction of a new brewhouse in the city's industrial park began in 2004 and was completed in May 2005.

Günther Bräu mainly supplies restaurants and beverage markets, but also parties, clubs and self-collectors.
