The Brawn Rocks are a striking 5 km long, isolated rock formation in East Antarctica, Victoria Land . They rise about 20 km southwest of the Sequence Hills .
The United States Geological Survey mapped them based on their own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1964. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named them in 1968 after James E. Brawn (1932-2014), aircraft engineer with the VX-6 squadron on McMurdo Station in 1966.
