The brazetto had two different meanings as a measure of length.

1st variant

Brazetto was a measure of length in the Swiss canton of Ticino . It corresponded to the foot .

2nd variant

Brazetto was also in the meaning of Braça (Portuguese, Spanish Braza, Italian Braccio, German Bratze from Latin Brachium [the arm]), a measure of length in southern Europe and South America.

  • Ticino 1 Braça = 267.20 Paris lines
