Breberen-Schümm

Breberen-Schümm was a municipality in the Selfkant district of Geilenkirchen-Heinsberg in North Rhine-Westphalia . Today its former area belongs to the community Gangelt in the district of Heinsberg .

history

On January 1, 1963, the two communities Breberen and Schümm formed the new community Breberen-Schümm. The places Brüxgen , Buscherheide and Nachbarheid belonged to the former municipality of Breberen . Broichhoven belonged to Schümm.

On July 1, 1969, the community was dissolved and incorporated into the community Gangelt.
