In a Brechlbad is a building that was used commonly in the agricultural sector and the farm buildings built an agricultural estate. As firing with wood posed a certain risk of fire in a Brechlbad, this was usually built with a safe distance from residential and stable buildings. Most of these are mostly made of wood and simply designed with a rectangular floor plan and a gable roof . In order to save heating material, a break bath was often combined with a laundry room or a bread oven.

With increasing industrialization and the wide range of cotton fabrics and synthetic fibers , the crushing baths lost their importance as manufacturers and were no longer used from the beginning of the 20th century.

Further use
