Breidsvellet (Norwegian for wide ice sheet ) is a steep glacier slope in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . It is located in the Borg massif on the east side of Jøkulskarvet .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named the glacier slope descriptively, mapped it on the basis of aerial photographs and measurements of the Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1949–1952).
