Around 1913: The corner building and its neighboring buildings from a greater distance

The building, which stood with its narrow side directly opposite the tower of the Aegidienkirche , survived in large parts as one of the few buildings in the area the air raids on Hanover during the Second World War . In the post-war period, the area around the smallest house in Hanover resembled a large field of rubble, while at least the facade of the house at Breite Straße 12A remained almost intact.
