Breite Strasse 16 (Velten)
The Breite Straße 16 building is a monument in the town of Velten in the Oberhavel district in the state of Brandenburg .
Architecture and history
The building was erected in 1877 as a school on the Anger next to the village church and the rectory . It was used as a school until the inauguration of the new school building in Viktoriastraße in 1885. It then served as a residential building and later as the city library until 2017.
The single-storey house has a T-shaped floor plan, is made of solid brick and has a gable roof.
