The Breiter Weg 179 building in Magdeburg , the capital of the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt , was built between 1728 and 1730. The residential and commercial building is a protected cultural monument .

The three-storey, three- axis building has a dwarf house . The stucco ornaments concentrate on the outer window axes.

The house, which was burned out in 1945 during the Second World War , was rebuilt like the neighboring building at Breiter Weg 178 in 1948/49, preserving the original facade design.
