Breiteweg 147–150 is a row of streets in Barleben in Saxony-Anhalt that has been designated a monument area .
location
The monument area is in the center of Barleben and extends on the west side of the main street Breiteweg, which runs through Barleben. The buildings Breiteweg 147 , 149 and 150 are also listed as individual monuments . The same applied to Breiteweg 148, which has since been demolished .
Architecture and history
The row of streets includes several rural houses from the 17th to the early 20th century. There is no uniform building line for the houses that characterize the streetscape . They represent the different appearances of farmhouses from the respective construction periods. However, the demolition of the centrally located Breiteweg 148 farmhouse has impaired its historical appearance.
In the local monument register , the street line is listed as a monument area under registration number 094 15917.
