Brian Deacon

Brian Deacon (born February 13, 1949 in Oxford ) is a British actor .

Brian Deacon first played at the Oxford Youth Theater and also worked as a window cleaner before he was hired for smaller roles in television series and films.

In Peter Greenaway's film One Z & Two Zeros , Deacon first played with his brother Eric Deacon . In 1979 he played the title role in Jesus , a film produced by the evangelical Jesusfilm Project . During the shooting he fell ill, so that a double had to be used in longer scenes, such as the crucifixion .

From 1977 until the divorce in 1987 Deacon was married to Rula Lenska, with whom he has a daughter. He has been married to Natalie Bloch for the second time since 1998.
