Hermann Fenner-Behmer
Hermann Fenner-Behmer (born June 8, 1866 in Berlin ; † February 3, 1913 there ) was a German painter .
He studied at the Royal Academy of Arts in Berlin. During a study trip to Paris , he continued his education with Gustave Boulanger and Jules-Joseph Lefebvre . He then traveled through Europe. In 1908 he received the Golden Medal of the Academy of Arts for his painting Lady in Brown . Also in 1908 he received a small gold medal at the Great Berlin Art Exhibition .
Over time, Fenner-Behmer specialized in elegant portraits of women and erotic scenes. Many of his works have been reproduced as heliogravures .
