Brian Leonel Fernández (born September 26, 1994 in Santa Fe ) is an Argentine football player . He plays as a midfielder or a striker .

Fernández began his career in 2011 at Defensa y Justicia in the Nacional B . In 2014 he rose to the Primera División with the club . At the beginning of 2015, he moved to the then Meister Racing Club , with whom he reached the quarter-finals of the 2015 Copa Libertadores , in which they were eliminated against the Guaraní Club . During the Copa Libertadores, Fernández tested positive in a doping control , which is why CONMEBOL subsequently banned him for two years.
