Brian Oliver (athlete)

Brian Thomas Oliver (born September 26, 1929 - October 20, 2015 ) was an Australian triple jumper .

In 1950 he won the British Empire Games in Auckland with his personal best of 15.61 m. At the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Vancouver he won bronze as part of the Australian teams in the 4-by-110-yard relay and the 4-by-440-yard relay. At the Olympic Games in Melbourne in 1956 , he was eliminated from qualification. In 1953, 1954 and 1956 Oliver was Australian champion in the triple jump and in 1953 and 1956 in the long jump .
