Letter band (postal system)
A letter bundle is a handy bundle of letters and the like in the work process of a postman , which is kept together in a suitable way in order to obtain the internal pre-sorting of the letters according to streets and house numbers.
The number of letters, which often weigh a few kilograms, that a postman has to distribute in the course of his predefined delivery route , he usually divides himself into bundles that are easy to handle for him personally, which he also ties together himself.
