Tobias Buck-Gramcko (born January 1, 2001 in Göttingen ) is a German cyclist who is active on track and road .
Athletic career
Tobias Buch-Gramcko has been active in cycling since 2014, having previously competed in all -around competitions and triathlons . In 2017 he became German youth champion in the individual time trial .
In the following year, Buck-Gramcko started at the Junior Track World Championships in Aigle, Switzerland, and together with Max Gehrmann , Calvin Dik and Jannis Peter won the bronze medal in the team pursuit with a new German record time (4: 07.401 min). In the 1000 meter time trial , he finished fifth.
In 2019 Buck-Gramcko initially won two medals at the Junior European Railway Championships : silver in the single pursuit and bronze in the team pursuit with Nicolas Heinrich , Hannes Wilksch , Pierre-Pascal Keup and Moritz Kretschy . Around four weeks later, the Junior World Track Championships were held in Frankfurt (Oder) . Buck-Gramcko was world champion three times: in the 1000-meter time trial, in the single pursuit and with Heinrich, Wilksch, Keup and Kretschy in the team pursuit. In the single pursuit over 3000 meters he set a new German record with 3: 09.926 min , as well as over 1000 meters (1: 01.328 min). In the team pursuit, the German junior four also improved the previous world record to 3: 58.793 min.
In October 2019 Tobias Buck Gramcko was to participate in the track European Championships elite in Dutch Apeldoorn nominated, but not used. In 2020 he received a contract with the rad-net Rose team .
Miscellaneous
Buck-Gramcko has been part of the Bundeswehr's sports promotion group since 2019 . In the 2019/20 winter semester, he began studying business administration in Berlin .
In 2019 he was voted Lower Saxony's "Young Athlete of the Year".
