Calvin Dik (born February 25, 2000 ) is a German cyclist who competes in races on track and road .

Athletic career

In 2018 Calvin Dik won silver in the Omnium and two-man team driving (with Nils Weispfennig ) as well as bronze in the team pursuit at the Junior European Championships . The German junior four-man set a new German record with 4: 07.401 minutes . In the same year Dik became two-time German junior champion on the track.

In December 2018 Dik was nominated as a member of the German national team to start the team pursuit at the 2018/19 Track Cycling World Cup in London . The German four took eighth place in the line-up of Dik, Richard Banusch , Kersten Thiele and Justin Wolf .

For 2019, Dik received a contract with the Heizomat rad-net.de team . In January of that year he started with Weispfenning in the Berlin six-day race ; thus they were the youngest team in the field.
