The team was founded in 2013 on the initiative of the Bund Deutscher Radfahrer (BDR) with the aim of strengthening the endurance area of ​​German track cycling by giving young talent opportunities to work in international road cycling , similar to the procedure in other countries, thereby simplifying central management of management measures .
