The rad-net Rose Team is a German cycling team based in Hagen .
organization
The team was founded in 2013 on the initiative of the Bund Deutscher Radfahrer (BDR) with the aim of strengthening the endurance area of German track cycling by giving young talent opportunities to work in international road cycling , similar to the procedure in other countries, thereby simplifying central management of management measures . For this purpose, the team was registered with the Union Cycliste Internationale as a Continental Team in 2013 .
The sporting director is Sven Meyer , who is also the national coach of the German endurance athletes on the track. He is assisted by the national trainer for the road area, Ralf Grabsch
In March 2013, on the occasion of the re-election of Rudolf Scharping as President of the BDR, it was announced that the former BDR federal sports warden Bremer is working for the team operator rad-net.sports GmbH in the area of recruiting and supporting sponsors. One u. a. Sports influence claimed by world and Olympic champion Robert Bartko was contested by the team.
Rad-net is the BDR website. Rose is a cycling goods mail order company.
For the 2018 season, the team was merged with the Heizomat team to form the Heizomat rad-net.de team .
