Sven Meyer (born March 30, 1985 in Plettenberg ) is a German cycling trainer.

At the age of 20 years Sven Meyer made that even as a teenager for the TV Attendorn had gone cycling race, an internship at the then coach of the Danish track cycling - national , Heiko Salzwedel . When Salzwedel gave up his job there after the Olympic Games in 2008, Meyer took over his position while he was still studying sports science in Frankfurt am Main . Under Meyers aegis of the Danish were train of four and the Madison -Gespann Michael Mørkøv and Alex Rasmussen at the UCI Track Cycling World Championships 2009 in Pruszkow world champion. Until January 2011 he worked in Denmark.

In April 2011, the Association of German Cyclists announced that Sven Meyer is the new German national trainer for track cycling endurance. In connection with this, he is the sporting director of the rad-net Rose team founded in 2013 .
