German Road Cycling Championships 2015
The German Road Cycling Championships 2015 took place from June 26th to 28th, 2015 in Bensheim , Hesse . The championship in the men's team time trial (elite) was held on August 30, 2015 in Genthin (Saxony-Anhalt).
The 26-kilometer circuit was about 310 meters in altitude and led from the Bensheimer Weststadthalle on the Berliner Ring (start and finish) via Auerbach , Hochstädten , Balkhausen to the Kuralpe, Staffel , Beedenkirchen , Reichenbach , Elmshausen , Wilmshausen and Schönberg . The elite men drove the course eight times, the women four times. Thereby, 310 meters of altitude had to be conquered in each lap. The highest point of the route was the Kuralpe at 410 m above sea level. NHN , a pass of the L 3101 at the foot of the 514 meter high Felsberg . The individual time trial started in Einhausen and ended there; one lap was 15 kilometers long.
Around 20,000 spectators watched the men's street race along the route.
The head of the organization team was the former cyclist Algis Oleknavicius , whose Event GmbH organized the championships together with the cycling department of SSG Bensheim and RV Einhausen.
The road race, in which the German champions in the U23 class was determined, took place a week later, on July 5, 2015, in Bruchsal . One lap was 14 kilometers long and the drivers were originally supposed to do 13 times, but because of the heat it was shortened to eleven laps.

The race, which was characterized by numerous escape groups, was won by Emanuel Buchmann after a solo attack a few kilometers from the finish in front of Nikias Arndt, who was only able to reach Buchmann's rear wheel when crossing the finish line, and Marcus Burghardt.

The first championship in the men's six-team time trial (elite) was held on August 30, 2015 in Genthin (Saxony-Anhalt) as part of the cycling Bundesliga . The organizer was the Genthiner RC 66 e. V.
