Ole Quast

Ole Quast (born October 9, 1989 in Hamburg-Mitte ) is a German racing cyclist in the disciplines of cyclocross and road cycling .

Quast was discovered by the two-time German cross-country champion Jens Schwedler , who was also his first trainer. In the first few years he also mainly dedicated himself to cross-country races and became German junior champion in 2007 and the U23 in 2011 as well as seven-time Germany Cup winner in both the junior and elite classes. At the Cyclocross World Championships in 2007 , he was fifth in the junior race.

In the 2015 season Quast drove on the road for the UCI Continental Team Stölting , with whom he won the bronze medal in the team time trial at the German Road Championships.

In January 2017 Quast ended his involvement as an active cross rider, but continued to race. In addition to his career as a competitive athlete, he completed a commercial apprenticeship and studied business administration.
