The Lotto-Kern Haus team is a German cycling team based in Weitersburg .
The team, initially led by manager Markus Felsing and sporting director Detlef Kurzweg, was founded in 2014 and registered as the UCI Continental Team under the name Team Kuota . It initially had the working title Team Rhineland-Palatinate and took over some of the drivers from Team Quantec-Indeland, which was dissolved in 2013 .
The first name sponsor was initially the bike manufacturer Kuota , which was supplemented by Lotto Rheinland-Pfalz in 2015 . For the 2017 season, Lotto took over the position of main sponsor, and the solid house manufacturer Kern-Haus joined them . Kuota was also no longer the team's bike supplier. Müsing took on this role .
