The Brien Rocks are a striking rock formation in East Antarctic Victoria Land . They rise 10 km west of the Caudal Hills .

The United States Geological Survey mapped them based on their own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1964. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named them in 1968 after Robert J. Brien, aircraft electrical engineer of the VX-6 flight squadron at McMurdo Station in 1966.
