Brine, Corp. is a sporting goods manufacturer in the USA . He makes lacrosse , soccer , volleyball and hockey equipment. Brine markets its products under its own brands such as In The Crease for gates and gate accessories. The company was founded by WH Brine in 1922 as the WH Brine Company . It was the Brine family's private company until it was acquired by New Balance on August 4, 2006.

The company founder started with a small sale of sports equipment and jerseys. He sold his products in private schools and at regional events until Brine became one of the leading manufacturers of lacrosse equipment worldwide.

Cascade

In 1986, Bill Brine left the family business and founded Cascade, currently the largest lacrosse helmet and eye protection manufacturer in the world. Cascade is the official brand of lacrosse helmets in the Major League Lacrosse and was the official helmet manufacturer of the NCAA men's lacrosse championships eleven of twelve times .
