history

The origins of today's publisher Brinkschulte Medien GmbH & Co. KG lie in a small print shop that the two brothers Axel and Helge Brinkschulte operated from 1991 alongside their business studies at the University of Essen . The actual publishing house was only founded in 1995 and from 1999 onwards it produced various tenant magazines for housing associations. In 2003 the publisher took over the license for the top magazine Sauerland . Two years later, the IHK magazine meo ( Mülheim , Essen and Oberhausen ) followed, which the publisher was responsible for for three years. In 2007 the first issues of Regio Manager were published.

Two main locations have existed since the company was founded: Helge Brinkschulte heads the Essen location and Axel Brinkschulte heads the Arnsberg location . There are also other branches and there are holdings in other companies in the media sector. The central graphics department is located in Arnsberg. Overall, the publisher z. Currently (October 2017) 40 permanent and a good two dozen freelance employees.

Over the years, the company has developed its own licensing system for regional business magazines, the Regio Manager . In 2007, Südwestfalen Manager and Revier Manager were the first two regional magazines for managers. As of October 2017, the Brinkschulte Medien Regio Manager publishing house was producing for four regions in North Rhine-Westphalia.

A key unique selling point of the Regio Manager are the regional industry rankings for company-related services, e.g. B. the largest law firms, advertising agencies, personnel service providers, auditors & tax consultants, construction companies, building service providers, IT service providers, freight forwarders & logisticians, etc. Every year in September the 100 most powerful managers of the respective region are identified and presented.

Manager Golf Cup

In addition to the regional manager magazines, the nationwide series of events Manager Golfcup has been established since 2010 , which is played out in several regional events and in two final tournaments in Austria and Turkey .
