British Ski and Snowboard ( BSS for short ) is the United Kingdom's governing body for skiing and snowboarding .

British Ski and Snowboard was in February 2010 as the successor organization of in bankruptcy geratenen British Ski and Snowboard Federation formed. The association is based in London and is a member of the International Ski Federation (FIS) and the British Olympic Association (BOA). British Ski and Snowboard represents, supervises and trains athletes from the disciplines of alpine skiing , cross-country skiing , freestyle skiing and snowboarding , as well as telemark skiing , speed skiing and ski jumping , organizes national competitions and awards grants . The association is chaired by Lord Moynihan , who is also chairman of the British Olympic Association.
