Britta-Ann Flechsenhar

Britta-Ann Flechsenhar is a German jazz singer.

Life

Flechsenhar worked with Klemens Kaatz in the avant-garde pop group I'm Hungry in the 1980s . She was then active in the jazz group So what and worked on the project A Tribute to Billie Holiday . She appeared as a guest musician in the 1990s with Kaatz's group PAUL (with Anne Wiemann and Christian Riebas ).

Together with guitarist Christian Kögel , Flechsenhar founded the group Flexkögel after 2000 (with keyboardist Bene Aperdannier , bassist Stefan Weeke and drummer Martell Beigang ; later as a trio with drummer Jochen Krämer ), with which two albums have been created so far. She is also a member of the Mosaïq group , an a cappella group with cello and double bass accompaniment. She appears with guitarist Alexander Danullis in a Brecht - Weill program.
