Bene Aperdannier

Bene Aperdannier (* 1966 in Hamm ) is a German jazz musician (piano, composition).

Life

Aperdannier has been playing the piano since he was 13 and won first prize in the Jugend jazzt competition in North Rhine-Westphalia in 1989 . In the same year he began his jazz studies at the Berlin University of the Arts, majoring in piano, which he completed in 1995.

Aperdannier is co-founder of jazzIndeed , with whom he recorded several albums between 1996 and 2011, toured internationally and received the studio award of the Berlin Senate. He toured with Jocelyn B. Smith , Freundeskreis , Jessica Gall, Gleis 8 , Gayle Tufts and with Maren Kroymann , the Reality Brothers and Cultured Pearls or Keith Tynes . He also worked with Max Herre , Die Fantastischen Vier , Till Brönner , Laura Lopez-Castro, Josefine Domes , Katie Melua , James Blunt , Ellie Goulding , James Morrison and Lisa Bassenge , as well as with Udo Lindenberg , Nina Hagen , Xavier Naidoo and Söhne Mannheims . In 2010 he worked as a keyboard player in the live band of the RTL show Let's Dance . Since 2011 he has been a keyboardist / pianist with The Voice of Germany (PRO7 / sat 1).

He can also be heard on records by Lily Dahab, Jazzanova , Dave Binney / Eric St. Laurent, Michael Schiefel Blaue Augen , Offshore Funk, Sun Electric , Stephan-Max Wirth ( Dada Republic ), Britta-Ann Flechsenhar , Stefan Leibinger or Jazzkantine . He also wrote ballet music for the choreographer Maguerite Donlon ( Saarbrücken State Theater ).

In 2013 he was appointed professor for piano and ensemble at the SRH University of Popular Arts .
