Jochen Krämer
Jochen Krämer (born October 25, 1964 in Illingen ; † January 22, 2009 in Saarbrücken ) was a German drummer .
Krämer had completed a classical percussion course. He played in numerous Saarland venues as well as in the greater region . In addition, he was a popular national artist. Among other things, he played with “Dreiklang”, with Helmut Eisel's Klezmer band JEM, the Rhein-Main-Worldjazz-Combo “Zabriskie Point” and the jazz big bands “Brassolution” and “Ascension Factor”. Krämer worked a. a. together with jazz musicians Wollie Kaiser , Stefan Scheib , Ro Gebhardt and Georg Ruby . He was awarded the cultural promotion prize of the city of Saarbrücken and the rock promotion prize of the Saarland .
Krämer lived in Illingen in the Saarland and died in January 2009 of a brain tumor .
