Britta Teckentrup

Britta Teckentrup (* 1969 in Hamburg ) is a German artist, author and illustrator.

Life

She grew up in Wuppertal and moved to London in 1988 , where she studied art and illustration at St Martin's College and the Royal College of Art. After seventeen years in England , she moved back to Germany. Since then she has lived and worked as a freelance artist in Berlin . She has published over 100 picture books that have appeared in more than 20 countries.
