Maincor Rohrsysteme GmbH & Co. KG (spelling: MAINCOR) is a company with headquarters in Schweinfurt and a producer of plastic pipes for a wide variety of applications.

history

The company was originally founded in 2004 under the names PP Maincor GmbH & Co. KG and PS Maintools GmbH & Co. KG. In 2006, Maincor Anger was acquired in Marl , and various sales companies were founded in Germany and Europe. In 2008, the company was converted to Maincor AG. In the same year the sales companies in Poland and Austria are founded. In 2009, DRS Rohrwerke Sachsen was founded. In 2011 the Weißenberger company in Mellrichstadt was bought up and Maincor Slovenia and Sytec in Italy were founded with the participation of Maincor. In 2011 the employee participation at Maincor took place.

In August 2013, the Maincor AG group of companies had to file for insolvency (file number IN 280/13), which was carried out on its own responsibility. With a restructuring and the related sale of various business areas, the bankruptcy was ended in December 2013; the company Maincor Rohrsysteme GmbH & Co. KG was created. The number of employees in the company group fell from 630 to 535. At the turn of the year 2014/2015, the company still had 220 employees.

Companies

The company is divided into two business areas: pipe systems building construction and pipe systems industry. The product spectrum in the pipe systems sector ranges from the automotive , industrial and white appliance sectors to cable protection , heating and drinking water and capillary tubes for use in medical technology .

The company is a project partner of RWTH Aachen University in the research project on "Inexpensive trenchless renewal of house connection lines".
