Britta and Delf are a German songwriter duo.

Career

Britta and Delf belonged to the second generation of songwriters at the end of the 1960s. The two had their early appearances on the then Berlin folklore stages such as the Go-In, Danny's Pan and Steve Club and on national Brettl stages. They also qualified for the Nuremberg Bardentreffen and in many talent shows . They gained further experience in the Berlin cabaret Klimperkasten and in operetta productions . For her performance programs Delf wrote most of the songs herself, but also the music for works by Fritz Grasshoff, Fred Endrikat, Christian Morgenstern and Heinz Erhardt.

From the 1970s, the singing duo took part in many radio productions. For example in the former RIAS coffee table (RIAS-BERLIN), Hamburg harbor concert (NDR), second breakfast with John Hendrik (RIAS-BERLIN), Bremer Funkbrettl (NDR).

Also from the 1970s, television stations became aware of the singing duo and brought the two to shows such as: Talentschuppen (ARD / SWF), Früh practically (ARD), SFB-Umschau (ARD), Im Krug zum Grüne Kranze (ARD / SR), Current Schaubude (ARD / NDR). Her biggest TV appearance was on the popular ZDF show Dalli Dalli with her record hit Then get out of here .

From 1988 to 1989 Britta and Delf broadcast their own television show "What's New" in 29 episodes for two years on the Berlin television cable channel: Berliner Mischkanal SK10. For this purpose, they founded their own video production in 1988 and received a limited broadcast license for it. The two were there with their cameras when the Berlin Wall came down on November 9, 1989 in Berlin. This is how unique video documents and interviews were created from this time.

The first record productions Go to the country and there is no yodelling in the sky were recorded in the Sinus-Studio of the successful producer Hans-Ulrich Weigel .

Britta and Delf are still active as songwriters, chanson singers, pop and mood duo and disc jockeys in Germany.
