Bro Goth Agan Tasow

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Bro Goth Agan Tasow ("The Ancient Land of Our Fathers") is the national anthem of Cornwall . It is sung to the same tune as the Breton and Welsh anthems (Breton Bro gozh ma zadoù or Welsh Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau ), which was composed by Welsh James James . The Cornish text is from Henry Jenner , the founder of the Cornish language revival movement . Traditionally, the singing of the anthem ends with the cry “Kernow bys Vyken!” - “Cornwall forever!”.
