Bromsgrove (constituency)

Bromsgrove is a constituency of the British House of Commons in the county Worcestershire . The constituency was created in its current form in 1983 and covers much of Bromsgrove . He sends a representative to parliament.

The constituency existed between 1950 and 1974, but was later reorganized as the constituency of Bromsgrove and Redditch.

Well-known members of parliament

The constituency has been represented in parliament since the 2010 general election by Sajid Javid , who was Chancellor of the Exchequer between July 2019 and February 2020 . Before the nine-year electoral abolition, Bromsgrove was represented from 1971 to 1974 by Terry Davis , among others .

In April 2013 the constituency had an unemployment rate of only 2.1%.
