Bronisław Marciniak (born June 30, 1950 in Pleszew ) is a Polish chemist and rector of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan .

Bronisław Marciniak completed his chemistry studies at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan in 1973 with a master's degree . Then he works at the university as a lecturer. He received his doctorate in 1979 and was adjunct at the chemistry chair from 1981 to 1989 . In 1989 , Marciniak qualified as Dr. habil. and continued to teach at the University of Poznan. From 1996 to 1999 he was Vice Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry, and in 1998 he became a professor. From 1999 to 2005 Bronisław Marciniak was Vice Rector for Research and International Cooperation. Since 2008 he has been the rector of Adam Mickiewicz University. At the same time, he was elected head of the Rectors' Conference of the Polish universities from 2012 to 2016.

Bronisław Marciniak is married and has three children.
