Brosix (formerly known as Brosix Corporate Instant Messenger ) is a secure instant messenger that allows users to communicate with one another. It uses 256-bit AES encryption to encrypt messages , ensuring their security. The product is available in two editions: Brosix Personal is the freeware version for personal use for individuals, while Brosix Business is intended for companies and businesses that can also set up their own private messaging network.

Brosix offers functions for text, voice and video messages, for creating and transferring screenshots , for transferring files , a whiteboard and a desktop sharing function.

Brosix participated in the polls for the "Best IM Client 2009 Award" and the "Best IM Client 2010 Award" organized by About.com . In 2009, Brosix won the “Best IM Feature” category for the Brosix Whiteboard and the “Developer of the Year” category. Brosix took second place in the “Most Improved IM Client 2009” category and was among the top three of the “Best IM Client 2009” and “Best Third-Party IM Client 2009” categories. In 2010, Brosix won the "Best IM Feature" category for Brosix Screenshot.
