history

Two residential dwellings can be found in Lescheid since 1810. This former single farmstead was subsequently also called Lorscheid, Leescheid, Lehnscheid and Lescheid. In 1910 there was the household of the farmer Peter Arenz and that of Peter Siebigteoth (farmer) in Lescheid.

Until August 1, 1969, Lescheid belonged to the municipality of Uckerath , as part of the municipal reorganization of the Bonn area, Uckerath, and thus also the place Lescheid, was assigned to the then new non-official municipality "Hennef (Sieg)".
