Eichholz is a district of the city of Hennef (Sieg) in the Rhein-Sieg district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

The hamlet is the highest district of the city at an altitude of mostly 270 to 280 meters above sea ​​level - on the eastern edge of the district is a good 285  m above sea level. NHN reached - on the slopes of the Westerwald , but still in the Bergisches Land Nature Park . Neighboring places are Stotterheck in the southwest, Lückert in the west and Issertshof , Kraheck and Hülscheid in the north .

In 1875 a school for the surrounding villages was built in Eichholz. The villages of Darscheid , Hülscheid, Issertshof, Kraheck, Lückert, Meisenbach and Stotterheck belonged to the Eichholz school district . Eichholz itself consisted of only one house with two residents at the time.

In 1910 there was only the pensioner Wilhelm Schorn household in Eichholz.

Until August 1, 1969, Eichholz belonged to the community of Uckerath , as part of the municipal reorganization of the Bonn area , Uckerath, and thus also the town of Eichholz, was assigned to the then new non-official community "Hennef (Sieg)".
